Nom! Nom!

A fan favorite character eating a gamers favorite snack, Doritos! D.Va is one of those characters you love to have on your team but hate to go up against. Here she is munching on our favorite break time snack.

Also available as a tee due to some requests.

Genji Needs Healing

It's been a while since I drew anything so here I am, with more fan art! I haven't played Overwatch in a long time, but I still love the characters. Here's some Genji for you, and he needs healing! If you want to let your fans know that you need healing, you can order a shirt with this design on it here!

Mega Charizard Split

I did some more fan art, this time of Mega Charizard. I drew it by hand and went the digital route for coloring. The results are pretty nice and as people requested, I've added this on Red Bubble as prints and shirts.

BRZ Sketch

I penned a sketch of the front and rear end of the BRZ and came up with this in the end. There was enough demand for it to be made as a print, so I did it and made other options available too here.

Miles "Tails" Prower

One of the first video games I ever played was Sonic the Hedgehog, and Tails, from the second game is one of my favorite characters.

Broly

An insanely powerful and insanely overrated character. Broly is by far one of my favorites in the Dragon Ball universe. Finished this one up with markers, pretty happy with the result.

Genos

I didn't have enough of a variety of markers to color this in, so I kept it black and white. Genos is one of the most badass characters in anime, it's too bad Saitama is always that much better!

Blue Bomber - Colored

I'm still testing out these markers and I'm getting pretty good results with them. Pretty happy with them so far.

Fire Kirby - Colored

My "Touch New" markers came in last night and I tested them as soon as I woke up. My sketchbook isn't really meant for alcohol based markers so the color spreads a little, but the results are still pretty good. After I get used to coloring with markers, I'll move on to a set of "Copic" markers.

Mew - Inked

Having a blast with these pens and decided to do some Pokemon art. Who doesn't love Mew?

Sunday, June 11, 2017

Vegeta - Inked

I've gone back to traditional sketching and now trying line work with pens. This is the first time I've used the Sakura Pigma pens and my first time inking a drawing. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Sketch Daily Reddit - April 27

It's been a while since I did one of these, I haven't had much time lately, but I've finally gotten back into it. The theme today was Spiderman, so I decided to draw my favorite villain from the series, Venom.

SpitPaint - Gold Rush

I joined a Facebook group called, Daily SpitPaint, which really helps you speed up you paintings while getting better daily. The idea is to choose one of four topics given to you and paint whatever you can in 30 minutes. The idea is to get your creative side going with such a short time limit. It's by no means supposed to be easy, but it helps you improve.

This is what I came up with for the topic, Gold Rush.

BRZ

I've been wanting to draw my car for a while now, but never got around to it. Since summer is almost here, I had it lowered, installed a new brake kit, and put on the new wheels. This was the perfect time to draw it. Cars still take me much longer than I'd like to paint, but I'm happy with the results.

Sketch Daily Reddit - April 8

I haven't had much time to do one of these lately, but I finally got one done. Today's theme is "draw the impossible". My picture depicts a hero about to fight a giant cave dragon, which in itself sounds outright impossible.

Commission - Vette

Did this commission for my buddy of his car. He's pretty proud of it, I mean, why wouldn't he be, just look at the thing.

Sketch Daily Reddit - March 27

Today's theme for the daily sketch is, "Jackie Chan". Now this is a great theme because it's an actor whose movies I loved as a kid. As I got older, I found he had older action movies, and that made him an even greater actor to me.

Sketch Daily Reddit - March 26

The theme of the day is, "Hot Air Balloons". They're an interesting concept, but I think I'd be too scared to ever ride in one.

Sketch Daily Reddit - March 21

Today's theme was "Mudskippers", but I decided to go with the alternate theme, "Water Lilies", since I was short on time.

Sketch Daily Redit - March 19

I'm a day late with this one, but I really wanted to do an animal drawing. The theme here is "Sleeping Cat" so this was perfect for me to get some practice.

Commission For A Friend

I did this piece for a friend of mine, it's about as realistic as I've ever painted. I watched a few tutorials and tried some new brushes and managed some decent hair. I'm happy with the results and hope to keep on improving.

Sketch Daily Reddit - March 18

We all live in a yellow... wait what? Today's theme is submarine's, and what better submarine to draw than a custom made one. This submarine is modeled after the Pokemon, Magikarp. I'm loving how this turned out.

Sketch Daily Reddit - March 17

Friday's are called "Free Draw Friday" where you draw anything you want or you can post something you've previously drawn. So I decided to go with one of my earliest drawings I've ever done digitally. It's a fanart drawing of Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu. The quality of my work has changed dramatically since then.

Sketch Daily Reddit - March 16

The theme for today's daily sketch is "The Jetsons". I decided to go with a cityscape picture showing their architecture. Total work time for this was roughly an hour.

Wednesday, March 15, 2017

Sketch Daily Reddit - March 15

Today's theme is "Evil Vegetation" and this is the first thing that came to mind. Beware of the Killer Carrot! Total work time was about 45 minutes.

Sketch Daily Reddit - March 14

Today's theme for the Sketch Daily group is "appendix n book cover". What better way to draw this theme than with a library. Since I like fantasy things so much, I decided to throw in a wizard reading a book too. The result turned out pretty neat, especially with the background. Slowly I'm getting better with them, even though they're plain. Work time was about one and a half hours for this one.

Sketchdaily Reddit - March 13

I joined the Reddit group Sketch Daily and have completed my first challenge with them. Today's theme was magic shop, with the alternate theme being frogs. This is what I came up with. Work time was about one hour.

Cheesler - Digital Version

Here's the digital version of Cheesler. The difference in my skill levels between digital and traditional painting is huge. Hopefully I can get my traditional painting skills up to when my digital skills are.

First Time Traditionally Painting

I've finally made my first attempt at traditional painting, and the results are surprisingly okay. I'm not as bad as I thought I would be, but I'm definitely not good. I'll have a digitally painted version up soon for comparison.

Valentine's Day Teddy Bear

So it's Valentine's Day and I thought I'd make something for a special someone. I used much softer colors than I'm used to for this, but the results turned out great.

Quick Doodle

I was just messing around a little with this one and doodled a scene with a few Pokemon in it. Pichu wants to go into the water and Pikachu is running to stop him. Squirtle and Magikarp are having fun swimming through the river and Rattata is just watching everyone.

Ashur

I was doing some reading on some of my cultural mythology and was inspired to draw Ashur. There aren't many details available on the gods, so this is my take on him. I focused on the character for this drawing and didn't bother with a read background.

From Wikipedia: "Ashur is an East Semitic god, and the head of the Assyrian pantheon in Mesopotamian religion, worshipped mainly in the northern half of Mesopotamia, and parts of north-east Syria and south east Asia Minor which constituted old Assyria. He may have had a solar iconography."

A Scene I Dreamt Up

I had a pretty strange dream last week and felt the need to draw what I saw. It was me as a kid holding my moms hand and all around us was a ruined desert world. I'm not sure what was on my mind, but it was definitely interesting.
